Day 1: Met Station

Depart from Nairobi, and we will go through the lands of Kikuyu, a rich agricultural area of Kenya. Arrive in the vicinity of Mount Kenya through Naro Moru gate around lunchtime and we will enjoy a picnic. From here we will start our first walk to the Met Station (3050 m), where we overnight.

Day 2: Teleki Lodge

After our first night of adventure to the Lenana peak, we head to our next stop, Mackinder's Camp (4100 m altitude). We will cross the Teleki Valley, where we will have spectacular views of the great peaks and we will cross the Naro Moru river. We will overnight at Mackinder's Camp (Teleki Lodge).

Day 3: Met Station – Naro Moru Gate

We will get up early and try to reach the Lenana peak before dawn, aided by our flashlights, to watch the sunrise from the top. From here we will have the privilege to see the beautiful scenery that stretches beneath our feet, privilege available only for a few.

Then go down to the camp for breakfast, and later begin our descent. We may descend back to the Naro Moru gate directly, or we can spend the night at Met Station and finish the climbing on the 4th day.

At the gate our guide will be waiting to take us to Nairobi airport or continue the safari or beaches extension of our choice.
