Hisia Safaris, the journey of emotions

Mount Kenya

Climbing Mount Kenya is one of the most beautiful mountain climbings that can be made. It is much faster and cheaper than the big Kilimanjaro. The altitude difference is supported much better here than in the Tanzanian mountain, and you will climb to the second highest peak in Africa!

The best periods to try to reach the top are from January to mid-March and August-September.

Access to Lenana peak (4985 m) does not present great difficulties. The busiest roads for the climbing are Naro Moru route (the classical pathway), the Chogoria route (the most beautiful) and Sirimon route (the less frequented).
