Lake Victoria is surrounded by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. It has an area of about 70,000 km2, is one of the main sources of the Nile and is the largest lake in Africa and the second in the world.
From the part of Kenya, the main port is Kisumu, and Homa Bay Area and Rusinga Island are very special. Next to this area is Ruma National Park, notable for hosting the roan antelope and many Rothschild giraffes.
